It seems cheeseburgers can not keep themselves out of trouble. So far, I have blogged about two incidents where cheeseburgers have been involved in physical abuse. Well, it has happened again.
Cheeseburger Beating Victim Files Lawsuit
April 21, 2009 11:03 AM EDT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A woman who said she was beaten after giving a homeless man a cheeseburger outside a Nashville McDonald's is suing the restaurant, a nearby liquor store and her alleged attacker.
Published reports said Fran MacLaren and her husband filed suit in Davidson County Circuit Court on Monday, asking for $2 million in damages.
MacLaren claims David Craig threw the cheeseburger she gave him and beat her outside the restaurant last April. The suit says Craig was hanging around the McDonald's after he was told to leave the nearby Uncle Koto Liquor Store.
The suit states both stores failed to provide a safe place for their customers. Neither business could be reached for comment.

'Cheeseburger Bill'
We have all heard about the lawsuits against fast food chains that claim their food has made its consumers obese and unhealthy. Since 2005 this is no longer possible. People are responsible for their own actions. If they choose to indulge in McDonald's cheeseburgers on a regular basis, then that is their own problem and they must deal with the consequences. Here is the link that explains the 'Cheeseburger Bill'.

4800 Calories!!
A minor league baseball team, the West Michigan Whitecaps, is offering a 4,800-calorie cheeseburger on its ballpark menu that has been branded a "dietary disaster."
The four pound meal has five beef patties, five slices of cheese, nearly a cup of chili, Fritos, salsa, nacho cheese, sour cream and lettuce and tomato all on an eight inch sesame-seed bun.
A local paper reports that anyone who can finish the behemoth burger all by themselves will get a special T-shirt.
The burger costs $20.
Who would want to tackle this challenge? This single burger holds more than two days of the recommended calories suggested for a human! Whoever does complete this challenge is not going to be feeling good the next day.
What is the need for a cheeseburger that has 4800 calories? Just goes to show how unhealthy restaurants and people can be. Cheeseburger such as this one contribute to the escalating obesity rates in America. If people did not have the option to each meals such as this, obesity rates would drop.

134 LB. Burger!
I posted a blog earlier in the semester, which was the world's largest cheeseburger. It weighed 78.5 lbs. No longer is this the world's largest cheeseburger. There is a new cheeseburger that weighs 134 pounds and costs a total of 350 dollars! This is ridiculous. You would need like 60 people to feast on this burger for it to get finished. And who would want to spend 350 dollars?
Here is the video showing the world's largest cheeseburger:

Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe
If you like cheeseburgers and pizza, then why not mix the two? Well, here is a recipe for the hybrid cheeseburger pizza:
Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 ketchup
1 (12 inch) pre-baked pizza crust
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt, or to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1-2 tomato, chopped
dill pickle slices
Directions:
First of all cook the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet with a little oil until the beef is brown and cooked through. Drain off any excess fat and set the mixture aside.
Next, pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Spread the pizza sauce and ketchup evenly over the pizza crust but not quite reaching the edge, you can also add salt and pepper to taste. Spread the cooked beef over the pizza crust and then cover with the cheeses. Now place the sliced pickle and chopped tomato over the cheese.
Cook in the over for 9-11 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the crumbled bacon, slice, and enjoy!

Dairy Queen has cheeseburgers?
Dairy Queen is more famously known for its ice cream, however, they also serve cheeseburgers. If there was a Dairy Queen around here, maybe I would have known that. Anyway, here is the nutritional value of a Dairy Queen cheeseburger:
Serving Size: 152 grams
Calories: 340
Calories from Fat: 150
Total Fat: 17
Saturated Fat: 8
Cholesterol: 55
Sodium: 850
Carbohydrates: 29
Fiber: 2
Sugars: 5
Protein: 20
When compared to a McDonald's cheeseburger or a Burger King cheeseburger, Dairy Queen has the upper hand on the healthier choice.
